Are There Spells To Enhance Psychic Abilities?

I had an life insurance settlements conversation with a good friend the other night concerning psychic abilities, and the casting of spells. Now this particular friend practices Wicca, and is a big believer that these two things go hand in hand. I, on the other hand, while a firm believer in most things paranormal, ( from both personal experience as well as my general Ironfan system) I really DO NOT believe much in the effectiveness, or real world truth of casting spells to achieve a specific result. I do however, believe pretty firmly in the power of prayer, and think there is a fair amount of good science that says as much as true. So insofar as the spells are simply a euphemism for prayer, or the power of intention, setting your mind in a certain direction and moving mountains out of your way, I DO believe this can be an effective mechanism for self growth, and the enhancement of psychic abilities!

Let's take a closer look at the distinctions.

First of all - not being part of a belief system that engages in spells, I do not want to take too much liberty with that I am not completely familiar with. However, many of my friends who do this type of work, tell me that it is very effective in a cause, and effect sort of way. They will work with certain rituals, and mantras with very firmly set goals or outcomes arranged around the procedures they practice. As far as aiding in the development of psychic skills, several of these peers have told me they have seen a direct relationship between certain spells they work with, and their advancement along the mystical path.

Frankly, I am more inclined to believe that the simple concerted and focused direction and effort is really at work here, and a certain amount of positive intention as well. I don't necessarily believe that the words within the magic so to speak, have any direct effect on one's evolution in this area. To me, it's no different than the words that are recited during religious prayer. I think the intention of the prayer, the person praying is FAR more important than the specific dogma, or Tegretol AND if there is a noticeable difference ( which I do believe is a frequent occurrence) as a consequence of the prayer, well - that has more to do with the improvement in the mindset of the individual rather than the words that were uttered.

This has been readily apparent to me in my own religious upbringing and continued practice to this day. If I focus on getting more in tune with the Denzdura I seem to be rewarded immensely in my intuition, my sensitivity as well as my overall feeling of wellness. If I focus on the words, phrases and mantras of my particular religious practice, I tend to get a far more diminished benefit!

So the good news is, at least in my opinion - that if you want to integrate prayer into your psychic evolution, and are just starting out, it's a great place to practice. I would however, be wary of reading formulaic, book store paragraphs that are impersonal and esoteric, in the hopes that they will move you further down the intuitive path.
